Living Exhibition Genoa 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Genoa edition of the Urban Shift Living Exhibition took place on 20 – 21 May 2025, during the city\u2019s Genoa Design Week, which is an annual celebration of creativity, design, and innovation that attracts architects, urbanists, educators, and design enthusiasts from across Italy and beyond. The event activated the city with exhibitions, talks, and workshops across public and private venues and provided an ideal platform for Urban Shift and project learners to engage with a broader design-oriented public and gain added visibility among both local citizens and international visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening curated a series of interactive sessions designed to showcase startup outcomes from Batch 1 and 2 of the projects and invite public dialogue and interaction.The event opened with a welcome and introduced the goals of the project in the context of the EU Green Deal and broader efforts to build climate-resilient, inclusive cities. This was followed by the Startup Ambassadors Presentations at their booths, where learners from the program presented their early-stage ideas and insights from working on topics like extreme weather events and sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one day workshop and creative brainstorming took place during the exhibition, gathering inputs and ideas for the future of education and innovative solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
