Food waste is a massive problem, contributing to approximately 4.4 billion tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions annually, as per the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Greenhouse gas emissions from food waste in landfills exacerbate this issue. In egg food production, eggshells account for a significant portion of food waste. With global egg production projected to reach 90 million tons by 2030, the disposal of eggshells in landfills without repurposing them worsens the problem, causing long-term environmental pollution. Additionally, eggshells contain valuable raw materials like calcium. Finding a sustainable solution is crucial to address these challenges.<\/p>

Our solution involves recycling these eggshells and transforming them into waterproof tiles suitable for buildings. These tiles not only prioritize eco-friendliness but also exhibit exceptional durability and a resilient texture. In comparison to conventional tiles, the Ovolo tiles offer crack resistance, lightweight characteristics, and temperature regulation. They can be customized with various finishes, ranging from smooth and polished to rough and dense, ensuring customers have a diverse selection to suit their aesthetic preferences.<\/p>

By repurposing up to 130 eggshells per tile, we maximize the utilization of this waste material, further enhancing the sustainability of our solution. To implement this approach, we have adopted a business-to-business (B2B) model and seek collaboration with professionals such as architects, interior designers, and tilers. Through these partnerships, we can seamlessly integrate Ovolo tiles into construction and design projects, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-conscious utilization of building materials.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
